Then, a no-cost look back.

Not yet tested

The first look back carries no fee. We agree on one past commitment, one historical date and a bounded scope in writing. We use what was known then to test the parts of the method already built.

We set the answer beside your team's judgment at the time and what happened later. We examine the differences without treating hindsight as knowledge the team already had.

You bring: Summary figures without donor-identifying information, written permission and time from someone who knows the numbers. We agree on the information and time needed before starting.

We aim to learn: Whether the method adds anything useful, where it falls short and what would need further work.

I record unresolved facts separately, including what is missing and what evidence could resolve it. If a missing fact prevents a supported answer, I document that limit. These are my working notes. The method’s response to unresolved facts remains Designed, not yet built.

A paid pilot, if the look back earns it.

Not yet tested

A useful look back could lead to a pilot on a current commitment. I'd agree the scope, fee, timeline and limits with you in writing before starting.

You bring: Current portfolio summaries, a person who knows the work and the agreed fee.

We would test: What the built parts of the method can establish about that commitment. We'd agree how unresolved information would be recorded and reviewed.

You keep the decision. Evident Method has not yet been used on a live commitment.
